This is a phone number that the County of Riverside uses to scramble their numbers they are calling from. If you get a call from this number, it's because the County of Riverside is trying to contact you but they do not want you to have their direct phone number. If you do not identify yourself in your voice message, they will not leave a message due to confidentiality purposes.
I have been so happy, with hope, since I received a message on Friday 09-09-2011 from this number. The lady stated she was from the County of Riverside informing me that my job resume was selected for interview and that I would be receiving another call in the next week or two with specific information. (What a relief ...finally an interview!!)
I received what I thought was that call this morning, Tuesday 09-13-2011. When I answered, the phone was silent. That call was from 917-793-5694. That made me suspicious. I called that number back and a recorded message said ..."not in service". The 411 operator had no record of the number. I have not searched it yet but...
I owe no money to the County of Riverside. I have never had any dealings with Child Support Services or any other debt collection service and I suspect that "Sarah", from her comment dated on 08-18-2011 is part of the problem.
Should I discover that the information I have posted here is inaccurate, I will update it or retract it.
To all, but especially to Sarah. I apologize. I was wrong about my comment directed towards you Sarah. Please accept my apology. I followed this information up by going to the county website. The HR department validated this number. It does not necessarily mean it is from Child Services, collections etc... It seems that it is is a generic number that is displayed as Sarah said. The call you receive from this number ...0000 could be any department in the County calling for any type of business.
So, it seems it was coincidental that I received that "other" call this morning... now I'm trying to get my foot out of my big mouth so that I can finish polishing the shoe and go to that interview after all.
