I too received a call from this number on Wednesday Apr 20, 2011 at 5:15 pm. Person used my first name, sounded very, very strange. What gives with this? Said my nname twice, then hung up.
Received many calls from this number. They never leave a message and I've actually answered twice and no one said anything. Whatever they're selling, I don't want any!
I kept getting calls from this number and they weren't leaving messages. When I answered they said they were with United Healthcare and that they wanted to talk to me about my Wellness Plan. Within minutes they were trying to get my address and date of birth, which I refused to give them. They also called at 8:55pm, which is not acceptable to harrass me once again into giving them this information. Must be a phishing scam is my thought. United Healthcare would already have my address/dob and would not call me at 9pm to talk to me about a wellness plan.
I've been receiving calls from this company for a couple of weeks. If they reach my VM, they don't leave a message. When I did speak with them, the caller said they were with the Wellness Program provided by United Healthcare. Since that's my insurance plan provided by work, I called them to confirm and, yes, this agency *is* under the umbrella of services that is offered by United Healthcare.
According to both agencies, they'll stop calling upon request. However - and this is important to note - they will keep calling the 'master' number for each insured person. For instance, my number is the main number listed, since I'm carrying the insurance. And I'm carrying insurance for both myself and my husband. So, although they (finally) stopped calling my phone for me, they continue to call my phone for my husband. And they will not stop calling until HE requests that they stop calling.
Long story short, the program is legitimate, and will stop harassing on request. Just not immediately.
