I get calls from this agency regarding my boyfriend. It is completely inappropriate for them to be contacting me regarding his debt. As far as they know our relationship is casual. I have informed them that dating someone does not make you their secretary, and I am not obliged to pass along messages,so not to phone me again, but this does not work. It hadn't even occurred to me that this could be somehow affecting my credit if they have my information attached to his debt. Not being married, am I still at risk as some on this bulletin board have implied regarding spouses when the debt was in one of their names only? Informed responses only please. Thank you.
Steve Bell not only called me, he called my sister, my brother and my mother in law looking for me. He asked them if they knew me because he had an urgent message. They all said no and he hung up on them.
