They have called my number at least a dozen times, requesting a person I do not know. Repeatedly, I have explained this to them, and asked them to remove this number from their records. The phone calls continue.
This dude keeps on calling to my house number, even though I told him there is no one under the name he is looking for he keeps on calling. He says his name is Dave Myers. I already called Viking Collection Service to let them there is no one under that name and to remove our number. They said it was going to be removed from there contact list but I guess this men likes to harass. Stupid Dave Myers.
I have just recently started getting calls from a James Shorts from this number as well. I have recently gone through a divorce and my job has cut our pay back. Going through a divorce is not an easy thing to do emotionally and monetarily and I don't like being able to pay my bills and i am going to get them paid but in the meantime I don't need to have these guys calling and harrassing me like they do. After listening to Mr. Shorts mouth, i finally told him look I am going to Las Vegas next week and going to win the money I need to pay you back and hung up. I imagine he didn't like that answer, but it felt good to me LOL.
Creditors and debt collectors can call you at work unless you have notified them that such calls are against your company's policy (or in any other way told them not to call you at work). Like other cease communications requests, it's best to inform them of this in writing by certified mail with return receipt.
