Just rcvd a call from man with thick Indian accent. Telling me we have viruses getting in our computers. I asked him questions about what he was saying & he would raise his voice every time I asked a question. I asked for his company phone number so I could call back later at a better time, he hung up swearing at me.
Got a call from this #. Caller ID said Dave Steffenson. When I answered the person on the other end in a heavy Indian accent told me they were getting reports of trouble from y computer. I don't know how many calls I've gotten from clowns like this. I keep telling them to take my name off their calling list.
Rec'd a call from this number; shows Dave Steffenson on Caller ID. Had same experience as Rick; told me they were calling from Windows Operations Center and there were problems on their computer. Asked him 4 times to repeat the phone number he was phoning from; he would spew out a bunch of numbers and then he finally hung up on me. Total scam.
I also got a call from this number by a woman with what sounded like a hispanic accent who Identified herself as "Christina" saying she was from windows technical support and that my computer had a bunch of errors. I told her it was bs and not to call me again. Glad I followed up on this to find out it truly was a scam.

My Mother received this call telling her they had been getting reports from her computer that it had problems and they needed to access it to fix it. Problem is her computer is no longer online and hasn't been for most of a year. Sorry idiots makes you wonder just how many people let them access their computers if they continue to keep this going year to year.
