company called and said they were calling about our 941's that were filed last week. What liar's we did not file any last week. That is a scare tactic. I cant believe that people do this. It makes me so mad that I want to call them back but I wont , because I don't need this stress. they said they were with the Pheonix Group. I know why they are calling, I had a tax lien field against my company, they want me to pay about 6,000 to "settle" my $13,000 in tax debt. Well if I had 6K I would not have a tax lien, now would I. I have several company's calling me like this, but never one that outright lied and said they are calling about my 941's that I field last week, what a joke..
Dennis Tatum calls a few times a day regarding a tax matter. Not pushy or rude, but you'd think after 10 calls made to us and no return call he'd get the message.

The lady that called said she needed to speak with the person in charge of our company's taxes due to an over payment. When I asked if it was a sales call she repeated herself. When I asked her what company expense was overpaid she hung up on me.
