Called and had a 15-30 second hold of dead silence before someone connected. Said they were calling because they recently changed life insurance rates in our area. Telemarketers on an auto dial system.
Claimed to be following up on my inquiry about diabetic testing supplies. I am not a diabetic and live in Canada and have never inquired for those things.
Phone call to a business line. Answered, but no response. CID said "LIFEALERT". I had received calls about diabetic supplies ("get a free meter!") on that line within the last week, so as Tom mentioned, it could be related. I hate the diabetic pre-record thing, since there's no way to get to an actual human to mess up and waste their time.
