Called and had a 15-30 second hold of dead silence before someone connected. Said they were calling because they recently changed life insurance rates in our area. Telemarketers on an auto dial system.
I knew this was a scam or sales call so I thought I would teach this guy a lesson. I answered...it took several seconds for him to pick up from the computer generated call. He said he was from some insurance company and asked how I was today. That was about the last question he got in before I started in on him. "Im fine, is this a sales call..you know its illegal for you to call me and try to sell me something....he interrupts "this is not a sales call"...Me "sure it is, aren't you trying to sell me something....I don't know you...I didn't ask you to call me....this is a sales call and it's illegal...do you know that?" I pissed him off and he hung up...........imagine that?!
