They keep my call blocker busy as they start out on Monday calling at 11:00 Am T 12:30, wed 2:30, Thur 2 calls morning 9 am and then 7PM. Blocked each time. They are Idiots and fools and crooks.
Pretty sure it's VOIP not land line so "telcoms" can't do anything about it. Either block, ignore or answer and mess with them. I haven't noticed an increase in frequency since I started engaging them and reading words from my Indian curse words list I found on the internet. Stop blaming the telephone companies, they are as tired of hearing from us as we are from the scammers. May want to point the finger at Washington as they could probably address it.
I get the calls only on weekdays, and there is a pattern. I hate them to the point of obsession. Last week, after I blocked all of their numbers immediately after their first call, they once again called spoofing my telephone number, which I've also blocked. Their reasoning ability is so lame. Why on earth would anyone do business with a "company" that is spoofing their potential customer's telephone number, especially when the caller can barely speak English?
I didn't get my usual Monday morning call today. That almost always means another new number will soon be calling.
There sometimes is a pattern for days of the week and even times of day, but if they keep changing spoofed numbers getting ahead is pretty much impossible. So a call blocker may not be the best weapon in every case. I just don't answer unknowns and never return a call to an unknown. After about 4 months the calls dropped off quickly. As near as I can tell, the scamming business is doing OK, just like the Nigerians who keep e-mailing the same letter full of typos and language errors, the same dam letter since about 1998, and people trip over themselves believing they are about to be sent 17 million bucks. Nice Cat btw.
