That's what I do - but I name the blocked number ZZzzzzz that way it comes at the end of my contact list and I don't have to scroll through 50 blocked numbers and set it for a "no ring".
Another call from Rachel of Cardholder Services to tell me there is nothing wrong with my account, but if I push "1", I can lower my credit card interest rates. Scam.
Again and again they call my cell phone. Today I pushed 1 and told the lady to take me off her list and I'm reporting the constant call backs. Her response was "no worries it won't do you any good anyway!" Then she started using profanities and asked me "how I feel about it now" then finally she hung up. This is abusive harassment that needs to be stopped!
This number continually calls and a recorded message comes on the line from "Rachael" about lowering interest rates and I need to get the details & can speak with someone by pressing "1"- and id you ask them what is the name of their company- they will not answer- and if you try to say you are on the do not call list- or ask them to remove you from the do not call list- they just hang up - cause they just don't give a damn!
they obviously do no have to comply to the LAW!
so DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER - YOU WON"T GET ANYWHERE WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!]
and do they think ou would be STUPID enough to give them your PERSONAL information on the phone so they can HELP YOU!!!!!
