I also have just received 6 messages in the past 10 min. from a man with a strong indian accent saying his name is William Brown and call back at 206-548-4443. the number is registered in seattle. His message stated he was a lawyer and if I didn't call him back good luck.
these people have called me for the last few months claiming that i owe them money. i could not understand what they were saying and when i asked to speak to a supervisor it sounded like the same guy. i could not tell the difference. he keeps calling my cell phone, my work phone, i even told them not to call my work phone. they called right back on it. they have also called my friend 7 times in one day and another friend 4 times. i just ignore the call but it is always a different number.
I just received a call today from the same man as described in all of the above complaints. He has threatened with police and legal action. His accent is VERY thick and the callback # he gave was 202-379-2321. I have not responded at all to this call and these people need to be stopped. We have too many criminals who are baiting innocent people with their atrocious scams!
I just got the same call from a guy who say his name was Christopher Washington, and I disguised my voice pretending I was from his decent. I immediately pretented to call my son who spoke clear enlish and this guy changed his name several times. This is the number he called from so I did a phone check over the computer and my phone and it does not exist. I also want to add that he said he was working for Chase Financial Investigations. The scary part is that he had my bank account number and social security number this is crazy. I am reporting identity theft as quickly as possible.
just got a call from a Michael Chivas same story indian accent....noise in background...i just deleted it...and i will put fraud alert on my credit report
