Ok, so at first I thought it was my Obachan ( Japanese grandmother) but then by what she said I knew it was not my Obacha. She ased for my mother by first name, my mom wasnt home. she asked "when will be the bast time to call?" I responded "I don't know." so she then replied with "Okay I will call back later."
Next time she calls I'm just going to answer it and begin speaking Japanese, that would mess her up SOO BAD hahaha.
I see they call many folks about grants, for me, they somehow received my medication info after my back pain surgery and offered me Tramadol (which is what I take). I would never order from them since my prescription copay is $0.00!
Anyhow, they call my CELL number and I pick up only to manage to get in the words, "Please take me off your call list" because they will hang up on me if I try to do this legitimately. I am ready to pull out my hair, looks like I am not alone!
I'll fight this one tooth and nail. I can't block (that I have seen so far) from my new LG phone, but I have that number blocked just in case from my home number. These people won't get to our family due to our own knowledge, what pisses me off though is they CAN get to the elderly whom are only seeking a voice to talk to. Or possibly a trusting soul with a good heart that thinks they are 100% on the up and up. I fight for them...Renee
Phone showed "missed call". Called them back, to tell them to put me on their Do Not Call list. Recording said "Disconnected number, belonging to Pacific Communications Group". Area code 971 is northwest Oregon. Search on Pacific Communications Group Oregon found this site, says they are criminals, 25% of consumer complaints to FTC target Pacific Telecom Communications Group, etc.

Just received the call from them. It sounded like the woman in using a pay phone in a bar. Noisy and loud in the back ground. Kind of like the movie the boiler room. When I repeated my business name and asked can we help you, they hung up... 11-12-12 7;36pm pacific time.
