Ok, so at first I thought it was my Obachan ( Japanese grandmother) but then by what she said I knew it was not my Obacha. She ased for my mother by first name, my mom wasnt home. she asked "when will be the bast time to call?" I responded "I don't know." so she then replied with "Okay I will call back later."
Next time she calls I'm just going to answer it and begin speaking Japanese, that would mess her up SOO BAD hahaha.
Received a call from 971-208-9936 on 9/26/2012 at 3:59pm. Caller ID displayed "ASIA PACIFIC".
GoogleVoice already has this number listed as spam so it was routed directly to voicemail and my phone never rang. The caller did not leave a message. Based on the feedback I found here I added the number to my GoogleVoice block list. If this number calls again they will receive the standard disconnected-or-not-in-service tones and message.
I get calls ever day from them.Same thing say nothing, no mesg. With all of us getting the same calls you would think the F.C.C. would do something. Mine started when I didn't buy a security system. Hell I have nine systems, they are all trained.
I got a call and they said I won a $60 Walmart Card and they needed my credit card to activate it, which was a fee of $3+ dollars. I told her i was at work, which I am!!! and did not have access to my Wallet, so she wanted my bank card number. I told her I"m too busy and hung up. She was not rude, but I'm not stupid either.
They call multiple times every day, no one there when I answer. I have called back and selected the number on the automated system to be added to their do not call list. Today I answered and there was actually a live person asking for someone I have never heard of then tried to pitch a product to me even though I was not the person they were trying to reach. I asked him to remove me from their list. Three hours later - another call.
