I'm sure this was a robo-call where you can't talk to anybody, anyhow, so I gave them an earfull by banging the phone on the desk. Let them listen to that a few times and see how they like it!! I'm on DNC lists for Fed. & State, but they keep ignoring those. We have also asked to be removed form their calling lists, but they ignore your requests/demands. I'm sure this is same outfit that called me on 6-28-2012 from 971-208-9947, IND SUR GROUP. Call came from Salem, OR. according to search on area code. Regardless, they're always someone trying to sell you something you don't want, or, trying to obtain personal information so they can steal your identity. I'd still like to put a stick of dynamite up their a** and light the fuse while they watch it burn down. When will these SOB's learn? I have been making a log of all scammer calls to include date, time, phone number, company name (if given), name of person, type of call, and city & state where call originated. Yesterday, I just mailed off a 2 page listing to the state attorney general which logged 24 calls like this received since April 19th. Let the AG deal with the [***]! A call I received on 7/10/2012 came from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic!! If you get a call from Area Code 849, recommend you ignore it because it's from Santo Domingo. From now on, I'm going to bang the phone in their ears until they hang up!!!
Is it a coincidence? 1) No one has ever seen this number before. 2) Everyone got this call for the first time, all today. 3) It's Friday the 13th, THE Friday the 13th of the Knights Templar...
Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Figures... effin scam artists... If I get one more call from those east-indian jerks that want to help me with my computer problems - I will take them for a ride... maybe whisper to him and then when they want my credit card info.... slam the receiver on my desk!!! :D Thanks for the idea. *cheers*
