The next time you get to talk to some one on this number have a whistle and blow it loud into the phone or better yet get one of the air horns that they use on the fields.
Receiving calls on my cell phone from this number - have not answered as it is not a familiar number to me. Read that many other people are having calls from this number as well.
Good idea but I used to work for Capital One as a mortgage underwriter and our headsets all had a noise filter so when an irate customer would raise their voice, it would stay at the same volume level. I think it automatically would soften any whistles or airhorns (unfortunately) but I hope one of these [***] uses an old school phone receiver and goes deaf. Sadly, the only real way to stop them is to never answer the phone if you don't recognize the number-if it is important, they would leave a message.
