I have been getting numerous calls from this number for several days. It says "DIRECTACCESS" on the caller ID. They, whoever they are, are relentless! I never answer calls of this type because the Do Not Call list is a joke. These people will call regardless.
Don't be so stupid, people. You know it's a bill collector calling. They have the ability now to put whatever they want to come up on your caller I.D. in an effort to trick you into answering the phone. Sometimes they just hang up when someone answers as they want to establish whether or not it is a "good" phone number.
Never, never, never answer the phone if you don't recognize the number. Never.
Has called my cell phone twice trying to sell home security. The second time, when I asked him if he would like to be reported to the FTC for violating the do not call registry, he apologized and hung up. Call originated in Gresham, Oregon.
