They are incessant! This time when the "agent" answered and asked if I'd like to start saving on my credit cards, I answered "ABSOLUTELY NOT!" I told him to remove my number from their calling list and informed him that after hanging up I would institute a call trace with my phone company. SO IRRITATING!

Gresham, Oregon, a 971 number. When we answer they hang up. It is some sort of automated spy robo company. I called Verizon, our carrier and found out that all I need do is to hit *60. That gets me to a call screening. I add in that number and they can never call me again. Good info!
It is a violation of the law for any business to call a non-customer with no previous business relationship. Furthermore, it is also illegal to impersonate another organization. IE: a Bank. However, since the government and regulatory authorities refuse to stop this criminal from achieving his intentions of identity theft and tele-stocking others. What do we do?
I've started breaking their ear drums after about 40 calls. When they call, I press 1 to speak to a representative, when they pick up, I SCREAM "Stop calling me" and hang up. The calls have slowed down significantly, but haven't stopped yet.
