Just received a call from 977 220-1967 (no name shown on caller ID). Same cruise-winning message as the call received Jan 17th from 971 220-1938 ("Gresham O" shown on called ID). And yes, we're on DNCR. And yes I too was heartily fed up with those message from Rachel et al from Credit Card Services!
Has anyone been able to trace where the calls are actually coming from? (It is an Oregon number but some organization has to be behind the calls.)
1/4/2012 7P High strung female recording obivously excited that I won a cruise! Do Not Call has eliminated 90% of the phone harassment of the past. IF you follow their instructions to be removed from their list you have now confirmed that the phone number is live and they may sell it to other phone solicitors. If they are a scam wanting your credit card number - why would anyone believe that they are being considerate in removing you from their list? Just ignore the call for your own safety.
