I got ripped off $700 from Benchcraft Company. Robert Harpham (probably fake name) called me and said that they were designing golf guides for a local golf course - Sunridge Golf Course in Northern Nevada. He charged me $350 for advertising in one golf course guidebook. I sent him all the info that I wanted in the ad. Tyler O'Dell (probably another fake name) called back a couple days later and said he was having a special - 2 years for the price of one at another local course - Genoa Lakes . I naively agreed to the 2nd offer, also. I thought I would look them up on the Internet, which I should have done before I ordered, to check if they received any complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I saw numerous complaints that were filed against the company saying that they keep delaying delivery of the golf course guide and never provide the finished product. I called back Tyler O'Dell and asked to speak with his manager. He put me on hold for several minutes and then got back on the phone and tried to disguise his voice as the manager. I told him that he was pretending to be the manager and I told him that I wanted to cancel the golf guide orders and get a refund. Then he started calling me all sorts of names. I reported them, but I don't think anything happened with my complaint. I just received a call from their number today so they are continuing to try to screw people. Other numbers include 800-824-8311 ext. 252, 425-293-6919, 503-596-2465, and 503-858-7299.

You seriously think this will work? I've had some say, "sign up and we'll stop calling." NOTHING deters these jerks. Punch #2 (or whatever) to remove your name from their call list? A joke. Be nice, be rude, put them on hold, scream at them ... NOTHING stops them.

Remember that according to law, they must add you to their internal and external do not call lists, as well as provide you with a written copy of their do not call policy. They are also not registered with the IRS as a charitable organization.

We will happily add anyone who asks to our Do Not Call list. Although you didn't mention it specifically, I also want to clarify for posters here that we do not buy any lead lists or have a 'list' of any kind to remove businesses from. Our reps work from various online resources, including BBB, Chambers of Commerce, and Yelp.
Gameday Media is not a 501(c)(3) which is why we aren't registered as a charitable organization. We do give millions of dollars to schools each year, though!

Then you should have no problem telling me the percentage of what you give compared to what you take in. It does seem rather odd that you would have looked up your employer's number though.
