Any time who starts off a conversation without first introducing themselves, identifies who you are, like Hi Mr. Booker, this is Karen from XYZ Incorporated is either a poorly trained telemarketer or it's a scam, either way ignore.

Something about tax debt relief.  I said I wanted to be removed to the live person and they hung up on me.

Same thing just happened to me, a man voice say Hi and went blank.

Same here. My guess is that they are fishing for active lines s so that telemarketers can update lists of active numbers... for more future calls. I'm about sick of random calls from various numbers at least 20 times a day.

Just got the call.  Blocked it on my cell phone.
