Got random text from fake name called Brooke searched up number it was by a landline bankrupted company called 369networks

I just got a text from this number saying.......waaasuh my name is brooke.  What is the goal of this text?  Do we get billed for texting who are you or wrong number?

Got a text from Brooke claiming she got number from Facebook wtf??

Same thing. Got a text "Hello my name is Brooke." Asked if I knew her, she said not yet. I didn't bother to pursue it any further. I had a room for rent on craigslist a month ago. I gave my number to those who emailed me and showed interest in the room. I assume that's how they got my number.
