8 calls in 7 days, I don't answer numbers I don't know, especially out of area code. Not once has this number left a message, if it was ligit I'd think they would leave a message.
Fell for the scam carelessly and gave personal info. They do sound legit if you're not paying attention. Then one day later found my actual Comcast account is hacked.
I've been receiving calls from this number for a couple of weeks now. They never leave any messages. I'd like to know where these scammers found/bought/received my info.
I searched it online and went through the xfinity forum before landing on this site. People have reported this to comcast's customer service line, but it doesn't sound like the company cares one bit. Upsetting to say the least.
Got a call once before a few days a go and just now called at 4:26 CST. Both times they left no message. Added them to the auto reject list in my contacts.
If you put in on the legit comcast website your phone number, this dude or dudes get it. Only way I can figure it out. Got an email that was legit, called comcast and spoke to them, and during the bill pay online routine was asked what number they could teach me at. That was today around 2 pm and this number called me around 5pm. The website is hacked, that's how they are getting the pretense to call and initiate the scam.
Just my opinion.
This number has called me so many times, the person never leaves me a voicemail. I do not pick up my cell phone when random numbers show up. I am most positive that this telephone number is a telemarketing number and I do noy want to receive calls from this number ever again.
