This number is to a company called Prison Call Solutions (PCS). They help inmates and their families have less expensive phone charges by deposing funds into an account that serves as a local calling card, to avoid long distance charges. this company serves all US jail facilities, hence all the different caller ID locations.
Why should anyone pay for your needs no matter what they are when you did something... anything wrong.... to put yourself in jail or prison? If you knew better not to do what ever you did then you'd know better to even think that anyone was going to pay for your needs. My Nephew is in prison for what he did for 10 years. I will not contact him nor will I let him to contact me. I want nothing to do with him while he's in there. It's his life he chose.... not mine. There's no free lunch out of jail/prison and there's none inside it either.
Just got a call from this number and it was a paid collect call from someone I knew who went to prison a few years ago. Problem is, I didn't answer, which made it so I couldn't choose the "block this caller" option -.- damn prison creeper..
Despite the fact that I don`t know anyone incarcerated,I have been receiving at least 2 collect calls per day from someone at a correctional facility,and I wish it to stop immediately.
I got a call from this number 3 times a week ago and twice a few days ago. The voice is prerecorded by the person who set up the phone account. The call I receiceved is from my best friend. The prison he is in just switched providers for their prepaid phone calls. Before it was "no number". I haven't answered these calls yet because I didn't know the number. I did a search and found this website, so I finally checked my voicemails. It was his voice, his name. If you don't know the name, voice or anyone in that correctional faciltity, just ignore the call, or answer it and tell them they have the wrong number. They could be remembering the number they are trying to call wrong and thats why they keep calling you. You don't get charged for these calls. The prisoner pays for them (which is good for me, because my phone bill would be sky high trying to talk to my bestie all the time!)
