972-296-4031 has called me at least twice this month.
On the 7th and on the 20th of May 2016. It is very
scary to have to consider the possibility that calls
from 972-296-4031 be from Microsoft Technical Support,
as it has been reported.
Microsoft is a notably corrupt company, a fact evidenced
by Microsoft conviction in U.S. federal courts. Moreover
I have read credible reports of Microsoft being in cahoots
with segments of the U.S. government with the purpose of
spying on Microsoft product users, which they probably do,
not for pecuniary reasons, but to obtain favors from the
government.
That is why I try to stay away from Microsoft and all
its products. I have never used them at work or at home,
and I always refuse to use them in places such as hotels
and conferences, where they are unfortunately relatively
common to be found. Microsoft products are not safe.
I do not want to be called by Microsoft (972-296-4031)
anymore.
Law enforcement has been known to generate/ clone numbers to contact targets to track them when the call is answered. Don't answer the call, call back from a masked number. The target numbers are often obtained illegally via sting ray devices. Why would a telemarketer hang up when the call is answered instead of trying to push his/ her product? Think!
Scammers do that to generate a list of numbers that are "valid" (i.e., are currently in use), which they then sell to other phishing and telemarketing banks.
