I've been getting these calls for over a year! Yesterday three times, and already one this morning. I've received both Medical Compensation and Windows Technical Support calls, neither of which I fall for, trust me. My husband went as far as to tell one Easterner we ran Apple computers. I told the Medical guy this morning that I had called the FBI, and that all my calls were being monitored. He hung up, of course. One of the calls I got yesterday was from a guy with such a heavy accent I told him he wasn't speaking English. He then proceeded to spell out his most difficult words, and half of his alphabet was equally unintelligible.
I called the local FBI office this morning, and they told me that unless I have actually been scammed and lost money, they can't help. I facebooked about it, and asked everyone to call the number and harass them in return. Don't know if that will do any good.
they call saying you just had surgery, heavy middle eastern accent. I have never had surgery and have told them not to call yet they still do over and over.
they called numerous times, usually with no ID, today they had a texas #, it's something about calling to find people that want to sue for medical reason, I had a company that was going to help me sue for my husbands kidney dialysis problem, however I didn't meet their criteria, so they let me go, and now from the same area in Texas these calls come I can't count how many 6 times they last month, and prior they don't speak, i know it's poorly trained individuals who don't speak english very clearly calling and i am sure my # was sold to this out, i am calling the AG's office tomorrow and i will tell them the name of the attorneys office who was handling my case who won't help me now because there was a lawsuit and they wanted my dead husbands families names and those folks are people that won't communicate with me, so I am more than sure they sold my # to these people, it's awful they just won't take the word no, it's probably been 18 times in all that they have called me. When I call them, music comes on for 5 min. so i hang up.
Just following up to see what was new. So for FYI, I received a call a few days ago from 859-838-5398 Alexandria, Ky. and it sounds like the same group. Obviously a scam and that number was blocked too. That's a long way to move in a couple days Kentucky to Texas, obviously phone number manipulation who knows where the are, maybe the NSA does.
Received a call today. I asked who he was and he responded US MEDICAL . He thought I had had a bladder lift. I haven't, told him so, and that my number is on the do not call list. Don't call my number again because I have your number and I will take the time to report you. He had a very thick accent and it was loud as in a large calling center
