I keep getting this phone number 972-372-1105. Someone from this number keeps calling my cell phone. I don't know anyone at this number. How do i get this person to stop calling?
This is an incoming call from a prison. Many prisons use Global Tele-link to connect inmates to the outside world. The company is terrible and, as others have said; they charge usurious rates. If you want to regularly connect with someone in prison, have them make sure with a counselor that this is the best option which the jail allows. If there is no better option, I suggest you consider getting a burner phone with the same area code as the prison (not the area code that appears on your phone; you should google the town that the jail is physically in). I am an attorney and do this with inmates that need to be in constant contact. This will allow you to get the price advertised at the beginning of the call. Burners are available anywhere they sell phones. I use a $15 AT&T phone from Best Buy.
I just receieved a call from this same number and couldnt understand what his name was. I have no clue how they got my number and would like for them to stop calling.
