It's THEIR "dime." I get so many of these bs calls, I answer now and just press my mute button while I hear them going, "Hello? Hello?" In short order, I've noticed that those particular numbers no longer call. Caller ID is great, and these guys showed up as FIRST AM PMT so it was obvious what they are. My advice to them is USE A STAMP if you want my attention!
They have been calling me for days. Today I finally answered. The guy said he was calling from TransTech Credit Card Services or something like that. He said he wanted to talk to the owner of the business. I confirmed it was me. He explained that he was calling to determine if I am being overcharged for credit card processing. I proceeded to ask how he was going to determine that. He quickly said he'll be in touch and immediately hung up. I am on the DO NOT CALL list. Why is this guy calling me???
These guys are calling me at my desk in a government agency. I'm not even that important. We have a main switchboard, I wish they would call that and quit wasting the taxpayer's money!
Repeatedly called-- at least ONCE a day, sometimes TWICE. Pretend you are the owner and tell them you will contact the police if they keep harassing you.
