Answered phone; no one there for a bit; just as I was hanging up a woman came on. I finished hang-up; then phone rang right back - didn't answer. It went to my answering machine. Later I found a message on my answering machine from AT&T - an AT&T operator came on trying to assist me. Not sure how a caller can cause this to happen but I will be very angry if I am charged for an operator assisted call by AT&T.
I occasionally get calls from this number and have told them not to call, so when they call back and make statements that they will have someone in my area on Friday to go over my statements (not once asking a question), I simply allow them to set up the meet. Since we are a weekend operation, I'm not there on a weekday. Appointment time comes and I get a phone call. I feel for the guy, but I told him that they never asked if I was going to be there. They wasted my time, I realy don't feel bad for wasting theirs. It's my way of making this type of telemarking unprofitable.
