They insist that they are the US Treasury Dept. After they hung up on me twice, I called the number back and they answer "US Treasury Dept." I laughed and said that they didn't sound like the Treasury Dept. They then said that they would be having a lawsuit on me. Their words, not mine. Idiots!
Wish i knew how they got my number. How can you call claiming you work for the treasury when obviously, you sound dumb and theirs a ton of idian music playing in the background.. i swear people should get in trouble for this.
I got a call from them and they stated that they work for the u.s department of treasury. That I was being audited. The guy didn't want to give me his name nor provide a I'd #....I told him I was going to go and make a payment he even asked me to honk my horn because he didn't believe me that I was driving.
I got the same message and call stating their with the department of treasury and that I'll be arrested if I didn't pay 5,000 . Couldn't give me no information on what I actually did wrong and couldn't provide a supervisor for me to speak to....just sad.
Vanesssa, don't engage these criminals. Don't answer calls from persons you don't know or numbers you don't recognize. These are thieves who are going to keep calling you as long as they get an answer. Block the number(s).
