They insist that they are the US Treasury Dept. After they hung up on me twice, I called the number back and they answer "US Treasury Dept." I laughed and said that they didn't sound like the Treasury Dept. They then said that they would be having a lawsuit on me. Their words, not mine. Idiots!
Told me they were from the treasury Department and told me I had two hours to come up with $50,000 or they would come get the police department will come get me and I will be arrested and thrown in jail so I called them back and told them that would be fine I would contact my current Police Department and let them know
I just received a call from this number I didn't answer because my caller ID said Texas( I don't know anyone in Texas) anyway they left a voice mail saying a "tax fraud" was committed in my name and I need to respond to them failure to do so would mean I'm avoiding to appear in front of the majestry and I could be arrested. I knew it was BS so I decided to look up the number online thankfully I saw this site, I am going to call the number back and tell them what I think of them and let them know if they call my number again I will have it pinged, I will then have them arrested, hopefully lol.....I hate scum like these people!!!
I received five voicemails from this number, saying that I'm going to get arrested and I'm going to jail for tax fraud. If I don't want to go to jail give them a call back. It's a scam they're only going to ask for money when I call them back. The IRS will send out a letter addressed to you. Not a phone call .
