just got a letter today saying that i needed to settle outstanding loan within 72 hours ...and if not instructed the legal team to move forward with civil litigation procedding against you regarding default loan. including but not limited to serving the lawsuit by a constable of sheriff at any place home or work in the event they win money judgement against you that they cal be eligible for seizure and garnishment. ......please note attorney feeds billable rate is 500.00per hr....im so scared now i'm shaking .....anyone heard of this i looked up number but got nothing.
I received the same letter today stating I owe $2187.32 - that must be their magic number. However; they are willing to settle for $699.98 payable in 3 days.....with $500.00 per billable hour......
I don't have any outstanding loans.....I'm ignoring this letter....
My husband just received the same letter...same Accrued Balance of $2,187.32 and Settlement offer of $699.98. Everybody's loans can't be for the same amount. Plus, my husband doesn't owe any loans. If you google Ted Hoffman & Associates, LLC, you get nothing. Sounds like a big firm, so if legit, should be a website. No originating loan provider's name or account number. BOGUS. I hope no others fall for this.
