I received the same letter from Ted Hoffman & Associates out of Dallas stating that I had a balance of $2987.32 and a settlement of $799.98. I find it INCREDIBLY suspicious that all of the balances and settlements mentioned above are so similar.
I reported to FTC and scanned the letter to my computer so I can email it to my lawyer....sounds like class action status!!

I received a letter stating I owe $2,187.32 and Settlement Offer $699.98 payable within 3 days. It's funny we owe the same amount.

I told them I would give them $100.00 and they jumped on it. I am not sending them nothing. A guy from Texas, Jeff Brooks was on the other end of the phone.

I agree we all owe the same....how funny is that.

I called the lender they said they are collecting for and the lender told me I have no open accounts with them and I should not send any money.
