Ignored the call from 972-521-3637 because I was on my cell phone for family matters. I stopped the ringing and they called back again. My call block list is full.
I received a call from this number. The "caller" is basically a voice response system. When I advised that I am unemployed and could not donate, it asked for a specific donation amount. I did call the number back and got the identical recording that came on the inbound call. I did look up the webpage for The Texas Fraternal Order of Police Grand Lodge and called them. The option for on their phone tree doesn't exist. I did get the Administrative Director on the phone to advise what their outsourced company is doing. I guess the DBCL doesn't do much.
Texas Fraternal Order of Police. Its a scam. The caller admitted that they are not state funded and all money donated goes to the "Corporation". What a waste. How can they avoid the Do Not Call List??
