They said i was picked to receive a $100 gift card to use at stores like walmart, best buy, and target from purchasing from somewhere else (they couldn't tell me who) and then and asked for my credit card number to pay for shipping. Said absolutely not and hung up
These scumbags apparently call not only cell phones but landlines. I received the number listed above on my cell phone, which was blocked by an application I have on my phone called Truecaller that cut it off after one ring and identified the caller as "scam reward card."
Two minutes later, the landline rang and was stopped after one ring because of the previously blocked number, (832) 389-2950. This is the second time they have call the landline by that number. It might be coincidence but I think the same scumbags are using both numbers.
It appears that the cockroaches are invading cell phones, which is still completely prohibited.
The FCC "do not call" is a joke. All talk, no enforcement.
