He was a foreigner wanting to use a cc to purchase 500$ item yet he asked to me to charge him 3500$ and for me to send him the 3k. Seems oblivious it's not his cc and he's trying to launder the cc money.
I got the same message and yes its a scam. the number is based out of Texas and they ask about landscaping..and they got my information off my web site....delete
This guy contacted me via text with a different number stating something similar to lung cancer and just purchased a house. Unfortunately, he doesn't owned said property as sated and it is definitely a scam. His new phone number is 407-494-6744.
So this person (Garfield Mayer) Texted from number 207-390-8389 wanting an estimate for service's and can pay with CC. New number for this scammer. Thanks for posting other numbers!
Got a text from this number >>> 207-390-8389 asking for an estimate on an HVAC install on a home just purchased in Atlanta, GA. Very oddly worded, said he had lung cancer and that's why he could call, name was Garfield Mayer and did we accept CC. Felt weird about the situation so I googled it and found this, saved wasted time and money by finding this info. Thank you!
Hey Rose I got the same text. I set up the service call. then I googled him. glad I found this. I called the # and it said the text now subscriber cannot be reached.
