This number has called my home again. I must agree with the post by KIDSand BARBELLS above. I have answered this number before and it was TIME WARNER CABLE. I did not answer this time but will only assume it's still TWC. The time that I did answer - it was a solicitation because they called from a Dallas, TX extension and I live in NC.
I received a call from this number on March 6, 2015. The caller ID says: "DALLAS TX". I think I've seen this number come up before but they never leave a message. No results with a Google search.
Call back gets a very fake sounding "we're sorry, the number you have dialed is not in service at this time. thank you." Clearly not a phone company recording. That spells SCAM! Don't answer it, ignore it, block it.
Update: I received another call on 03/11/2015 @ 8:03 PM. I didn't answer but I called back later. I got a recording saying: "The number you have dialed is unallocated." This is no doubt a spoofed number indicating a scam.
