I note that there are several companies named S&S Marketing. One is in Nashville. One is in Trinidad. One is in Halifax, UK and sells only tableware. One is in Overland Park, Kansas. One is in Santa Clarita, CA. One is in Arlington, TX. Another is in Hamilton, Ontario. One is in Royse, City TX. Another is in West Palm Beach, FL. Some of them find jobs for people. A couple of them sell products. Some help companies to do marketing.
And those listings are from only the FIRST page of the Google listings for S&S
A contributor to this thread found a "bad" S&S. You started defending S&S, just as a prospective customer. You declined to say what service they were offering, and that you could not afford. You declined to say which S&S called you, and acted so nice to you. And you declined to say where S&S was located.
So we are faced with questions... Did you have the luck to talk to the only good S&S, and all the others are bad? Did you talk to one of the eight good S&S companies, while refusing to believe that even one of the nine total S&S companies might be bad? (And I am still talking about only the first page of Google for S&S).
The plain fact is that someone on this thread associated one of a bunch of S&S companies with scam telemarketing. You say you may have become a customer, except for bad fiscal conditions. But you did not say which S&S it was.
That makes you - wait for it - the recipient of the "shill of the day" award - Well, if and when the voting starts, I am nominating you.
"...The major complaint is "cold calls" from the owner of the phone number.
Those cold calls are illegal, if the recipient of the call is on the Do Not Call list.
A legitimate "marketing company" (AKA "call center") screens for those numbers, and avoids calling folks on the DNC list. ..."
My nomination still stands. This guy is allegedly defending a company that called him - a bit different from the ones who claim to be employed by the suspect company, and insist that all of their services are wonderful.
