I've been getting a lot of calls from here too, after filling out the water survey. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message so I checked here & found out who was calling & why .... grr
Same thing is happening here in North Florida Home depots. DH answered an employees water quality survey and we've had A&B marketing (aka rain soft)phone calls
Ever since. They won't take no and not interested for an answer. Bogus excuse is that he won a gift certificate and needs to be home where they can bring it and give us a free water test. Home Depot did a great disservice to themselves by partnering with this company. We have a kinetico water system and love it. Wouldn't change to a rain soft system if another one was given to us: which by the way it was in the past. New system that was less than six months old was given to us and it was a total POS. Had the same $200 part that broke every year, plus their service call fee's. It went through a ton of salt. Their replacement parts for their RO were very expensive and had to be replaced too often as well. And they kept trying to sell us a newer system for about 8k, just so we could have the benefit of a warranty. Yea, right, like that's going to happen. We wound up pulling it out and giving it away to someone else.
I didn't do any kind of survey at Home Depot....have purchased a $2 item from them about a month ago but never filled in a survey. Calls from this number in the last week three different times. Always leave it to go to voice mail and they do not leave one. I will keep ignoring them I guess.
I never filled out anything at Home Depot (or anywhere for that matter). They just called my cell an hour ago, didn't leave a voicemail. Adding them to my blocked spam list of callers!
Got a call the other day and usually dont pick up calls where # is not familiar but picked it up and got no reply. Got another call this morning calling in ref to a home depot survey I filled. For filling it out I was offered a $10 hd gift card and a free water test kit, meaning someone was to come out and test water. I set up appt and then googled this ph number and came to this board. I called and cxld the appt and will complain to hd for giving out my information.
Same, filled out survey, now receiving calls from Rain Soft. Called local Home Depot they representative said she was completely unaware of any 3rd party selling of information said I'd have to call corporate 1-800-HOME-DEPOT. Spoke with Joshua in customer service, he won't give you his full name (I asked), took my phone number and said it should take an hour to remove my contact information from their records.
