I've been getting a lot of calls from here too, after filling out the water survey. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message so I checked here & found out who was calling & why .... grr
I have received a call from these people every single day for the last 2 weeks from 3 different phone numbers. I don't know where they got my cell phone number. I never filled out a survey at Home Depot, so it looks like another company must be selling our information to them.
I have never answered the calls, but I did decide to do an experiment and block one of the two numbers to see if they would try calling from the other. Well, it worked and they called me today from a third number. I guess that means I have another number to block and continue my experiment to see how many numbers they have!
Received two calls today. They did not leave a message. Received one yesterday. They left a 3 minute static message (nothing intelligible). As I read through the comments my suspicions were confirmed. I answered some questions at Home Depot regarding my water quality. I asked what the survey was for and what they did with my phone number and she said they wouldn't call but they were just trying to get information regarding the water in the area. I told her I bet someone was going to call.
Same here, Verizon id comes up as RAINSOFT. A nice lady at home depot (with the orange apron) asked about my water at home. I said it tasted just fine, but asked for my info anyway, so she would get "enough" forms for her shift about a week ago when I went there to look for a doggy door. You try to be nice and help a sister out, and you get this annoyance. I've blocked the number, so it just keeps going into vm, which they never leave. Been calling three days straight now.
