They left a message at my place.
Knew my name. It is a warning for a car part recall.
But I'm going to call a dealer in my area.
Not going online to this place where I have to give out personal info.
And it also looks like I'm not going to be calling back this place either. See below.

It isn't looking good for this place:
https://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/s ... ing-tx-90064416
and
https://autoeducation101.wordpress.com/2016/0 ... stomer-service/

Impartial Services Group
105 Decker Ct Ste 300
Irving, TX 75062-3796

I also looked up to see if the part they were talking about needed service or replacement and found...my car company "...will notify owners of affected vehicles via first class mail."  So now I am definitely not going to call this place back (they may have given an 800 number to do so in their message).

So now you know this is another phishing prank.
Any company that is just phishing for your info, in my mind is a prank.

Additional information: Evidently this is an old, yet valid recall. But being curious of the negative reviews about the Impartial Service group, I called the company that made my car. The rep there was helpful and I will be able, at no charge take my car to a local dealer to get the part replaced.

The rep said that there are companies that take (older) recall lists and make these warning calls. Since, when the recall letter was initially sent the ownership of the car may have changed and the item being recalled may not have been fixed. But I still am not going to call the Impartial Service group.  For all I know the repair could have been made. But in doing due diligence for safety I will on my own, call a local dealership to see if there was a 'fix' and when.

Left no message.  Since I don't own a car, I consider this call a spam call...regardless of the validity of the recall.

They want me to spend an entire day of my time to fix their problem.  Schedule an appointment with the dealer, lose a day of work, work on their schedule, sit in the waiting room all day because they fouled up and used defective parts.  No.  They're required to fix it.  They should come to my house and fix it.  If I want a window replaced they send a truck and do it.  If I need an oil change and don't have time I can get somebody to come over and do that.  They should come out and fix my damn airbag on my schedule.

Let us know how that strategy works out for you on an airbag recall. Be sure not to sue when it explodes in your face because you were waiting for them to come to your house for the recall work.
