Scammer called
A about my computer said his name is Clyde asked him to put me on the do not call list they said they don't have a do not call list to his is his job to call me and he was just going to call me again I could call the police if I wanted to how do these [***] clowns get your phone numbers
I just got a similar call that sounds like from the same guy as you got Ariel. The weird thing was that it was ID'ed on my cell phone with the name of a guy I work with along with the the (972) number. He said that 5 malicious e-mails were sent from my computer and he was with the tech company to fix my Windows account. I questioned him which computer, and he said "your main one." When I told him that I have 2 main computers he said to log on to the closest to me. We kind of went back and forth until he hung up on me.
I got the call from 9726667492 and He said it was from tech secure and I ask his address and phone number. He said they were on Greer ave. Holmestead Miami Fl. and his phone number was 3156363627. He insisted he was charging me anything and only wanted to help with my infected computer. I said he only wanted to the files on my computer to help me out of my money. He said the people already had all my info and he had to fix my computer. I eventually hung up. they keep calling back a couple times a week and usually a different person and one time it was even a girl. There is always a lot of background noise
Got a call from this number. Said they were Microsoft and that 5 computers had been added to my router. If I was near a computer he could guide me to fix it. Yeah right!!! Scam for sure. I said no thanks, hung up and have blocked the number.
Called today said his name was Alex and then said something I couldn't understand because of his strong Indian accent. Then said did you give authorization for this? I said I wasn't interested, thank you and hung up.
This person asked for me by name. He said he had to help me with a certificate problem on my computer. I asked him what company he worked for, if he worked for Microsoft. I could not understand him because of a heavy Indian accent. He would not give me a straight answer and ignored my request to be placed on his company's do not call list. He just kept talking. I told him I couldn't understand him and he told me to clean out my ears! That was the end of the conversation.
