Scammer called
A about my computer said his name is Clyde asked him to put me on the do not call list they said they don't have a do not call list to his is his job to call me and he was just going to call me again I could call the police if I wanted to how do these [***] clowns get your phone numbers
Yup, got the same call, so OI played along a bit to see what they really wanted....they want people to go to www.showmyPC.com and then download some program. AT that point I said "[***] you, I don't know who you are and I'm not about to download anything". He tried interrupting me but I persisted with more expletives and then hung up. For ANYONE getting these calls, I suggest you go to FTC.gov and find their complaint form and put in as the offending party, the above web site address. Let the feds find out who they are, IT'S THEIR JOB!!!!! In fact, I'm going to do just that, as soon as I get done here!!
Got a similar call to the guy above, Mike. He called me on my cell phone with the number only popping up. He said that I had 5 malicious e-mails were sent from my computer and he was with the tech company to fix my problem.
I guess I fell to realize that I have an angel Tech looking out for me. LOL Or Bill Gates cares how our window program is working after 4 years of purchase?
He also wanted me to go to my main computer, WTF. :-) So I called his Momma a name, hung up on him and blocked the number (972-666-7492). Maybe if everyone calls his Momma a name he will quit the company he is working for? :)
Got a call today on my cell phone. Didn't answer. That's the best thing to do when it's a number u don't recognize. Otherwise, they'll know they have a "live one" and keep harassing u.
