Got a call this morning. Said his name was Mike. He wanted to tell me about my 'free medical' blah, blah, blah at 6:27AM. I let Mike know what time it is where I live, told him he shouldn't call back and hung up.
this number is a scammer. he calls people all over the place. he has a heavy indian accent and tries to steal your information. he calls about some kind of mesh surgery or something. idk, my mom talks to him everytime. but just hangs up now. we have blocked his number several times and they just get a new number. the call comes from plano texas. these people have been harassing us for months now calling about twice a day every day. except maybe the weekends. we have already blocked there number and they get a new one... and have already contacted the police and they apparently cant do anything.. so this is [***] ridiculous. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!
This scam artist called and told me he was with the American Medical Dept; which does not exist, and that I qualify to be a litagent for a law suit for anyone who has had the blander mesh surgery recently. The first time couple of calls I told would tell them that I never had the procedure done; they argue with me and tell me that I qualify. I block their numbers to prevent them from calling. They use different numbers so any of the new numbers are not blocked. I even got a call at 6:30 AM, and yelled at the jerk for illegally calling before 8:00 AM, but that did not deter him from trying to get info from me. I have even gone as far as telling them to quit calling because I am not a woman, but then some other scammer calls from a different number. What a pain. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE LIKE THIS.
Another scam artist. Wanted to give me a free medical device should I fall down, then wanted a credit card number. So much for free. Have told them to stop calling for at 10 weeks two or three times a week; just won't stop. National do not call is a joke, I've had the number listed for years, filed complaint after complaint, and nothing ever happens. So much for government help.
