got a general call from a Cynthtia -- her message was vague only asking me to call her back -- caller Id said C and M and the phone number was 972-702-2955. She did not state what her business was or why she was calling.
Got this call on 03/18/2010 from 972-702-2955 from a guy named "Mike Anald" he just left a call back number of 972-697-7443 Cell. When I called the number back he provided I had to listen to some dumb music he had as his ringer. When he did answer he asked who it was. I just told him who he was and why he was calling my number. He then asked what number did he call and leave a message. I gave him the number. Then he asked was this a business I said no. He then hung up. Sounds like the same scam using a different angle by targeting small businesses now. BEWARE!!!!
I was stupid to give in the first time, the number changes but the caller ID is always CMoore. First they said they were from hella shriners, then The Jr Commerse? asking for money for needy school children, I knew these were the same "hella shriner" scammers so I told them I had no money to give & the lady replied "not even $35?" which was the amount the fake hella shriner jerks scammed me out of. got another CMoore call today, I hung up without answering. then 2minutes later I get a call from a mobile caller. & they claim to be sending money to families that have lost Mother/fathers in iraq. I knew this were the same people so I said I'm sorry I don't have any money, they replied "well no amount is too small"... I'm sorry I really don't have any money right now "well when would would you have money to give".. scammers just never wanna accept NO.
same scam here.I told them I would donate they said put it in a plastic bag and put it under the doormat. I told them just ring the doorbell and I would be home tomorrow. Brad then told me I wouldnt see them, just leave it under the matt. Thay have called back 3 times now . what a scam!
same here - different number but the put the check in a plastic bag under the doormat for the 'crippled' children at Shriner's. They are coming on Saturday but he suggested I put it under the doormat tonight so I don't forget....
