Newcomers to this thread may want to ask themselves, when was the last time you had a good experience with a business – any business – and came to 800notes.com to post praise? Never. How about all the people (if it's indeed more than one person) who have posted in this thread about how wonderful this business is? Have they posted in *any* other threads praising *any* other business? No.
Got a voiemail today from 972-239-3248 ("Cindy" with SEO) re my resume being reviewed and now SEO wants to meet with me. As I have NO record of applying with "SEO", I went digging. No info can be found on SEO from my quick Google search. Guess what I found: This thread!!! Won't call SEO back nor answer any follow-up calls/e-mails. TWO THUMBS up for keeping DFW informed!
SEO means "Search Engine Optimization" Crooks use it to con businesses out of money for guaranteed first place Google listing. Problem is that isn't how it works, they do nothing while milking your company dry.
Got a call from these guys even though I told them never to call me again when they were called TOP. Smart to change names and pick the most nebulous internet term they could find to prevent searches for reviews. Never, ever pay for a recruiter.
Now I read these stories. I bought into SEO for about $5800 (June 2015) and it has been one year without any references, referrals or interviews. In fact we have not send one letter, cover letter or resume to one company yet. I am currently in an email conversation with Robin Upton (SEO) and I am asking her what is the next step in the process since I cannot get any prorated refund. She would like to have a meeting with me. I am trying to explain to her that a meeting is not a step in your process and before I drive to her office and waste more time I want to know the intended results. An earlier posts suggests writing letters to earlier associates and explain to them what you are looking for in a career. This is exactly what she would like me to do. I think the company (SEO) just strings you along hoping that you will find a job on your own and then stop using their services. Based on the comments on this board there may be enough interest for a class action law suit? Any comments.
