Preston Harris of Grand Companies called and said he was following up on a previous conversation he had with the owner. Owner says he never spoke with this guy in the first place. Gave a different call back number than the one he called from (214)384-4525. researched both numbers and Grand Energy kept coming up for this number. Also known as Grand Operating, Inc. Does he not know what his company's name is? Probably looking for investors.
I too just heard from Preston at Grand Energy. Thanks for all the posts. He's already called about 4 times this week. Same MO as all of you describe. Asking for the owner like they're best buddies. I'm looking forward to messing with him when he calls again on Monday!
Asked for the owner. As always i asked name and company, if I dont know who it is I ask what it is regarding. His answer was our corporate project. I asked what project and he again said our corporate project. When callers are vague about what they are calling about they get dumped inVM.
Callers name was David Turner with the grand company.
Recvd call and gentleman was very rude. Asked for CEO, I know he out of the country so put to v/m. He called back saying that the call didn't go through. I then put to v/m again. Now I know it is just a solicitor.
Guy called, and asked for a FORMER president of one of our subsidiaries. (The man resigned in, like, August.)
I told he I could take a message, and he said, "Well, I just talked to him a few days ago."
No, you didn't jerkface, he left a few months ago.
I told him I could happily take a message, but that [former president] wasn't available.
"No, I'll just try back when someone better is answering the phone."

I talked to Preston a few times awhile back and couldnt stand him. He was pushy, rude, and inconsiderate. Another guy (Rob) from Grand Energy called me recently and was much more professional. After hearing him out and looking over their package, I found that its a pretty sound investment platform for oil and gas. Preston sucks but Rob & Grand Energy was alright. Personally, I think he is just a rude person
