They called my home phone and a woman saying her name was "Ms. Gamble" told me it was "very important" for me to call her concerning an "urgent matter" for which my number was given to them as a contact. While listening to her entire angry message she failed to ever say who she was actually calling for, the reason for her call or the company she was respresenting. I called the 888 number and left a message on their voicemail (the message stated they were a company called DNS though I do't know who that is) letting them know that not only did they need to get some damn manners, but if they were going to leave a message to mention who they were leaving it for and why. I guess we'll see if they call again.
This phone line made a computerized phone call to my home today. The call asked for a person whose number this is NOT. I have had this number for over 10 years. It further stated that it was not a sales call. The computer voice then instructed to press 1 if you are not the person requested, which I did. Then, it instructed to press 2 if you need more time to go get that person and bring them to the phone. Unbelievable. I finally caught on that instructions were not going to end, so I hung up. How stupid was I for actually taking instructions from a computerized robocall? Idiot!
I just received a message from a Robert @ Beacon. He said that it was urgent and that he had left me several messages. When I returned his call he was trying to set up an appointment with me with an insurance broker for my company. He was rude and when I told him I wasn't interested he said "Whatever" very rudely and hung up on me. Liar and rude! That's a great way to drum up business!
Diversified consultants . Collection Agency. They keep calling me harassing me about some credit card my father had. He passed away 2 1/2 years ago and I have nothing to due with his past due bills. I told them this but apparently they think I am lying and continue to harass me.
Demand a legitimate, physical address in which to mail a cease communications letter with return receipt requested. If they refuse, let them know you will be seeking legal counsel who will get it for you.
