Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. Got online and saw everyone's experience on this web page. So I tried calling the number back to have fun with it and a cell phone error recorded message come on saying it was not a working number. Idk wtf is up but thanks y'all for your feedback.

Yes, my grandmother got the call on her cell phone and I had over heard her side of the conversation and that they were asking about her credit card carrier and then I heard her saying something about what her expiration card number was and that no she didn't have mastercard that is was AARP and I immediately knew it was a scam. So I took the phone from her and asked the guy why he needed her card number, that if he was legit he would have all that information on front of him and he started to stammer saying that he just needed to confirm that it was really her that he was talking to and like we told him, he called her number and he would know it was her and that's she is aware of her credit card procedure already for confirming customers and that wasn't it. I got a serious attitude with him about it and made it obvious that I knew he was full of it and that we were reporting the number and identifying them as scammers and the guy immediately hung up, NO one is going to take advantage of my grandmother and the fact that she is elderly. I can't believe that a person could have the audacity to do that to an elder. Everyone please always try to keep an ear out for who calls your elder loved ones, not to be rude to them by easedropping, but to keep them from being robbed blind. That kind of debt it hard to recover from.
When I asked to be put on their do not call list, he proceeded to call me vulgar names, and described in detail what he wanted to do to me (I will not go into detail, but just imagine the worse things you wouldn't want any saying to your mother, sister or girlfriend!). Not sure if/how US authorities can track down these people, but I recorded his disgusting comments, from my cell phone to my computer, and would LOVE to file a complaint somewhere.
