Calls our business, asking for the fake owners name, telemarketers get that name when they buy bulk contact lists. That is why we don't give out the real owners name to information gathering companies and free magazines subscriptions.

The caller acts as if he is returning a call "Hi, this is [name]; sorry I missed you.... can you give me a call back at..."

"I'd like to speak to the owner about a small owner's business meeting.  What's his name?"  Another schemer.

Called again -- FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER - with a name this time - for a man that's been retired for years!  Twice this morning I've asked him not to call back.
