I did ship items such as: laptops, irobot vaccuum, bose wifi systems, puzzles (lego) to moscow and russia I guess for appro 3 weeks. Really thinking I had a legitiate job. until january 15, 2015 the U.S postal inspection department arrived at my door. I was'nt there at the time when my girlfirend called me and told me they the U.S. postal inspection department was at the house. I immediately felt dizzie. I came to the house in a flash I have nothing to hide because I did not do anything. so once in their presence the questions began. I was in awww and embarass because I am a graduate student trying to get into the doctorate program. All i wanted was some supplement income ( unemployed) to pursue my interest in passion. The Gift wrapping job was in my eyes a legal job to keep myself above water. But when the US postal inspection came to my house I swear all I could think about was compensation, a awaste of freaking time and all the other victims that may have been affected. after 2 day which today makes the 2nd day I became aware of the scammers, I am still in all. The jerk David talyor who was suppose to me my Project manager for Netbakcs, Inc emailed me today 1-17-2015 stating that my check has been processed and will be deliver by USPS in 3-4 business days.
The US postal inspectors told me to call all 3 credit reporting Trans, Equifax, and Experian and place a fraud and identity theft alert on all my accounts. The down side is that for this last only for 90 days then you have one more option to extend for another 90 days. So in order to protect my self further the Credit system agent told me to file a police report so that I can a 7 years fraud and identity theft alert placed on atl my accounts for 7 years. So although I put the 90 day alert I wll be going to the police department to file a complaint so that I can get the 7 year protection.
